Anish Sarkar is Senior Vice-President and Head of Consulting for Capgemini India since 2011, based in Mumbai. He has over 16 years of experience in Management Consulting and ICT, with strong focus on business transformation, enterprise performance management and information technology across the value chain; as well as diverse verticals, including Consumer Products, Manufacturing and Oil & Gas.

Anish has helped establish Capgemini Consulting as a serious Consulting player in India, with a portfolio of marquee logos in FMCG, Auto, Manufacturing, Pharma and Indian conglomerates. Capgemini's major Consulting offers include Digital Customer Experience, Business Process Management, Enterprise Performance Management and Shared Services Advisory.

Prior to this role, Anish was the Head of Sales for Capgemini India's offshore operations. He was responsible for India-based development of global accounts; establishing sector-based Centres of Excellence in Consumer Products & Retail, Manufacturing and Energy; creating innovative customer experience platforms; and overall sales transformation of the organization.

Anish has an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur. He is also a part-time author and his debut novel "Benaami", a historical thriller, was published in 2010.
