Netherlands began its Super Techies Show journey with a Meet & Greet for its competing teams, two weeks before the final. During this meeting, team members got a chance to talk to Capgemini experts, take part in workshops on sales pitches, improve their presentation skills, and get a sense of Capgemini's views on Digital Transformation.
This was a particularly useful initiative because it went a long way in helping teams to prepare better and considerably reduce stress levels during the finals!
Four teams battled it out in a head to head race during the finals, and showcased solutions and presentations of a quality that left the judges quite impressed. It was quite a tough decision, choosing one winning team, but eventually Geert Lombards and Janus van Limpt of team Fontijs made it through. What really worked for them was the well set up ROI and the almost life-like depiction of the customer journey, with Geert picturing himself as a shoe buying customer throughout the presentation.
So all thanks to a remarkable dedication that saw two team members participating in the presentation virtually, through a video they sent; and an ability to offer a feasible solution by truly looking at the case from the customer's perspective, team Fontijs has won itself the opportunity to participate in the semi finals in India and finals in Paris for the Capgemini Super Techies Show 3. The members look forward to an incredible experience, lots of learning, and some tough competition!
